Passionate about dog welfare, Lisa is the founder and principal of The International School for Canine Practitioners, and founder of the Dog Welfare Alliance, a non-profit organisation which brings together members of the public and dog professionals, and supports rescue organisations across the globe. Lisa is the author of 21 books, including three about dog psychology and behaviour, and is a consultant for the BBC on dog-related issues.
Lisa has been involved in volunteer work with dogs for over seven years. Gaining a Diploma with distinction in Canine Psychology in 2009, she has worked professionally with dogs, many of which are traumatised rescue dogs, ever since.

In 2011, Lisa founded DIAL, the Dog Issues Advice Line, and The International School for Canine Practitioners (ISCP). Author of the ISCP Diploma course book and the Emotional Healing Course textbook, in 2013, she founded The Dog Welface Alliance, bringing together professionals to promote positive training methods and support dog rescues.
